Rip & Roast BBQ 2-for-1

On Saturday, April 27, Jon Julio and Them Goods (along with a bunch of other sponsors) hosted the Rip -N- Roast BBQ at Paramount Skatepark. Bladers came out for good times, free eats, and a chance to session the skatepark with the homies. ONE was there and this is what we saw.

As Mike Opalek and Eric Sauer kept the grills roastin’, 100+ bladers got the skatepark rippin’. Crews rolled in from all over SoCal and more than one person noticed an abundance of new faces. There was also more young kids on blades than I’ve seen anywhere except Camp Woodward. The combination of these elements made for a great afternoon that no one in attendance will soon forget. And if you were lucky or smart enough to stay until the very end, you might have caught 1/4 of the OG Senate team and some other old school pioneers out there on the transitions keeping the dream alive. "
